Shin-Dang-Dong Dduck Bok Ki, K-Town LA

Dduck bok ki is a Korean chilly paste rice cake dish that's widely enjoyed among Korean youth. Shin-dang-dong is a region in Seoul known for its unique style dduck bok ki cooked right at your table with various condiments, or "sari", added.

According to my K-town source, radio korea, there is a newly opened restaurant at the corner of Western & 3rd St. where supposedly brought the original taste of shin-dang-dong dduk bok ki. I've never gotten a chance to visit shin-dang-dong therefore I've never had an opportunity to taste such dduk bok ki. On this friday I plan to follow my heart(or belly). It's my duty and desire to experience such food and share with you all.

Here is my proposal for this friday in attempt to round a gang of friends who shares the same love and passion for what we believe in. That is to drive far distance for the sake of adventure in exploring and experiencing strange land for good eateries. Afterward we can hang out at a cafe named "Mak" that has awesome sweet potato cake. Come join me for the ride!
